I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors, with over a decade of experience supporting youth and adults from diverse backgrounds.
Since beginning my practice in 2012, I have worked with clients navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, grief and loss, burnout, perfectionism, self-criticism, boundary setting, identity exploration, and life transitions. My clinical work is informed by both direct therapeutic practice and my roles as a clinical supervisor and consultant, where I support clinicians and multidisciplinary teams in providing ethical, trauma-informed care.
My approach is grounded in a feminist therapy framework and integrates evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and mindfulness-based self-compassion practices. This allows therapy to be both structured and responsive to your goals, values, and lived experience.
In our work together, I aim to understand your concerns in context, without judgment or pathologizing. I believe that many of the patterns people struggle with developed for good reasons and were once protective. Our work focuses on building awareness, compassion, and choice, so that change can feel sustainable and aligned with who you are.
I value a collaborative, relational approach to therapy and strive to bring my authentic self into the counselling space. Together, we will work toward greater clarity, self-compassion, and a sense of ease.
